Deadwood Public Library Board

The Public Library Board of Trustees, existing by virtue of the provision of Chapter 14-2 of the South Dakota Codified Laws, consists of 5 members plus one member from the City Commission. The trustees are recommended by the library board, appointed by the Mayor of Deadwood and ratified by the Deadwood City Commission. The terms are staggered three year terms. Trustees may be reappointed for a second term.
