Homestake Adams Research & Cultural Center
The Homestake Adams Research and Cultural Center (HARCC) consist of 12,000 cubic feet of archival materials from the Homestake Mining Company, the Henry Frawley legal collection and archival materials from the historic Adams Museum. Combined, these materials document the rich and riveting history of Deadwood, the Black Hills and beyond.
The multifaceted repository owned by the Deadwood Historic Preservation Commission and operated by Deadwood History, Inc. protects historic documents in a climate-controlled and secure environment, provide access to materials, offer a range of exciting and engaging public programs, host classes for secondary and post-secondary students, and foster ongoing research and the creation of publications.
