Snow Removal Notice

The Deadwood Public Works Department would like to remind you cars need to be removed from the street during snow removal. Residents will be notified one day in advance via CodeRED and the City of Deadwood’s Facebook page when snow removal is scheduled for their street. If your car is not removed prior to snow removal it will be ticketed and towed.

Sidewalks need to be cleared within 24 hours after the snow stops falling. Failure to clear your sidewalk will result in the city clearing the sidewalk at a fee of $150.00 per employee per hour. Snow should not be shoveled into the street after the snow has been removed.
