Deadwood Wall of Fame
The Deadwood Historic Preservation Commission's Wall of Fame Awards recognizes Deadwood's diverse historical figures which played a significant role in the legends, legacies and lore of this community. Every other year the Historic Preservation Commission along with the City of Deadwood honors up to two citizens from the colored past that help shape the landscape of Deadwood. These citizens will include business owners, historic characters and people that just made life in the town more colorful.
