Library Director

The City of Deadwood is seeking a forward-thinking, community-oriented full-time Library Director to lead, coordinate and administer library public services for our Historic Carnegie Library. This position is responsible for operating, monitoring and evaluating the library’s fiscal, policy, personnel and programmatic functions in partnership with the Library Board. The successful candidate must have good public relations skills, observe safe work practices and comply with the current residency policy. Bachelor’s degree with previous library experience required. Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a Master of Library Science degree a plus. Salary is commensurate with experience.
