Library Education/Program Coordinator
The Deadwood Public Library is accepting applications for a part-time Education/Program Coordinator. This position is responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating programs and educational activities for the public library. It includes developing and implementing programs with outreach to the community while working as part of a team to support library goals and future plans.
QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience in program development and planning, for all ages, with an emphasis on children’s programming. Ability to forge partnerships throughout the community to enhance, expand and improve library programs and services. Familiarity with library science and technology or a desire to learn and become part of the library professional community. Positive customer service and public relations skills are a must.
Pre-employment drug screening including background check is required prior to employment. This position is 25 hours per week with a partial benefit package. Starting wage is $17.50 per hour.
