Seasonal Library Assistant I

The Deadwood Public Library is accepting applications for a Seasonal Library Assistant I. The position is up to 40 hours per week with a varied schedule including some evenings and Saturdays. Balancing customer service and circulation clerical roles is a priority. Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting patrons in the use of library services and equipment, assisting with program planning, creation, and set-up, technology trouble shooting and assisting the director and staff in the daily operations of the library. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma, GED or high school student completing junior year. Previous library or customer service experience preferred. Proficiency with technology a plus. Starting wage is $16.00/hour. Pre-employment drug testing and background check required.
