Community Service Officers

First and foremost, the primary objective of the Community Service Officers (CSO) are to be ambassadors for the City of Deadwood.  Often, you will find our CSO’s on Main Street assisting visitors with directions, parking questions, and everything in between. Their goal is to work with the visitors, residents, and businesses of the City of Deadwood to maintain the communities safety and charm. The CSO’s perform a variety of tasks such as: Parking Enforcement, Animal Control, Traffic Control, and City Ordinance Enforcement.
